Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using the Telerify API ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service description

Telerify provides a REST API that checks whether a given phone number is associated with a Telegram account and, when found, returns publicly available profile information. The Service operates on a pay-per-success credit model.

3. Account & API keys

  • You must sign in with a valid Google account.
  • You are responsible for keeping your API keys (tlf_live_*) confidential.
  • You must not share, sell or publicly expose your API keys.
  • Any activity under your API key is your responsibility.

4. Credits & payments

  • Credits are purchased via Stripe in pre-defined packs (Starter, Pro, Business).
  • 1 credit is deducted per successful lookup (status: "found"). No credit is deducted for "not_found" results.
  • Credits never expire.
  • All payments are final. Refunds are issued at our sole discretion.
  • Prices are in EUR and include applicable taxes.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service for:

  • Stalking, harassment, or intimidation of any individual
  • Unsolicited bulk messaging or spam
  • Any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations
  • Attempting to reverse-engineer, overload, or disrupt the API infrastructure
  • Reselling API access without prior written agreement
  • Building databases of personal profiles for commercial resale

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms, without refund.

6. Rate limits

The API enforces rate limits to ensure fair usage. Exceeding rate limits will result in HTTP 429 responses. Persistent abuse may lead to temporary or permanent suspension.

7. Data & privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of lookup results complies with applicable data protection laws (including GDPR) in your jurisdiction.

8. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee 100% accuracy of lookup results. Telegram profiles are based on publicly available data and may change at any time.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Telerify shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance, API updates, or external factors may cause temporary disruptions. No credits will be deducted for failed lookups due to service errors.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, unused credits are forfeited unless a refund is agreed upon.

11. Changes to these terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Paris, France.
